Florida Tourism on a Budget

Florida Tourism

Planning a holiday that makes everyone in the group happy is often difficult, but what should we do and where should our group go on holiday? Can we afford anything else without paying for a hotel, and if so, where do we go and what should we do during the holidays?

If you can’t wait to get away and spend some time without dipping into your kids’ college funds, this is the list you hope to find for yourself.

Here’s everything you need to know about Florida tourism and traveling Florida on a budget.

Cocoa Beach

Let’s start at one of the best beaches in the area and dive right into Cocoa Beach and hang out on the beach. There is so much to do in CocOA, and the fine sandy beach, which is a big attraction, is definitely worth a visit.

It can be difficult to find free parking near the beaches, but locals know how to find not only a comfortable hotel at a reasonable price but also a parking space that costs less than the car itself.

If you choose a centrally located Cocoanoke Beach hotel, you can arrange a free parking permit for the entire trip and a free shuttle service to and from the hotel.

There is so much to do on the cocoa beach and the beach that you may want to extend your visit for a few more days to enjoy everything.

Grab your family and rent a paddleboard for an hour and take a balloon tour to see the wildlife and rivers that are so notorious in Florida. Burn those fast food calories, and if you need to do something active, why not have a quick lunch at one of the many restaurants in the area?

Daytona

If you think it’s too expensive to visit Daytona because it attracts celebrities, don’t be fooled; in fact, it’s one of the cheaper beaches.

While Daytona is known for Bike Week and the Daytona 500, there are many other lesser-known activities you can enjoy during your stay that do not require a leather jacket.

If you want to spend a dollar to park on the beach, it is easy enough to find a parking spot at one of the many public parking lots in Daytona Beach.

The city of Daytona hosts a free concert series on its shells all summer, so grab a chair and relax with fireworks.

Key Biscayne

For a measly sum, it’s worth crossing the bridge over Key Biscayne to take a nice ride to a free beach along the way that has better views than the last. Be sure to read up on the history of the village before you head out over there.

But be warned, it’s hard to relax when you’re busy taking pictures of the perfect scene and posting it on social media, fueling holiday envy.

There are bike rental stations where you can grab a bike that you can rent for an hour, then park it and leave it when you’re done.  Remember that even though it might seem expensive, Key Biscayne can still form part of your Florida on a Budget trip by taking advantage of these hacks.

Florida Tourism On a Budget Can be Done

Hopefully, you all now know how to save enough money during your visit to Florida to afford a repeat. It isn’t as expensive as you think and the trick is to know in advance where to spend money for quality and where to save your cash.
